y500 satisfies all the above except for the fact tht it comes with a 768p screen.

theres some news about a hp touchscreen laptop with a weaker gpu but with 1080p screen. You may try that as well!

You can check out Samsung so5in, it has got good sound quality with 900p screen. Or else y500 is also good.

+1 for Lenovo Ideapad Y500 (59-379647) Laptop (3rd Gen Ci7/ 8GB/ 1TB/ Win8/ 2GB Graph) - Lenovo: Flipkart.com

I get like 4 hours battery life (advertised 3 hours) with Power Saver profile with casual browsing, watching movies etc. You'll definitely get 3+hours. Don't mind FHD - you won't notice much difference. I have FHD Y500, and trust me on this. Unless you have perfect 20/20 vision, it's more or less a placebo effect. And even if it isn't, not worth obsessing over - you would probably get better battery life on 1366x768 anyways. And yes, I'm happy with my Y500 despite me buying an earlier model with faulty touchpad. Otherwise has served me well.
