Check if new BIOS is available for your mobo to run Ryzen 5000, look into its steps. 5600X is a great upgrade for existing Ryzen users w/o changing mobo.

I am currently on bios version F22 on Gigabyte AB350M-Gaming 3

5600x is supported from T52d. It says ( Note: NO Bristol Ridge processors support. ) for T52d. ( GA-AB350-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.x) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global ). Raven ridge is still supported on new version

I heard old mobos will support just 3 gens of CPUs because of limited space, so either old 3 gen or new 3. Anyways, maybe better update BIOS when you have R5 5600X in your hand. Post BIOS update, if it works with old CPU good, else just swap CPU. Read more about it on reddit maybe.

Yo guys my cpu is running very hot.
At idle it is running at 60-65c

When watching YouTube or doing some coding (web development ). It is running at 70-80c

When playing any game ( I tried Control/ Hades, just after 2-3 mins after starting game it goes upto 95c

Read some articles, I think my case ( Antec gx 200 ) doesn't have good air flow.

Recommend me a case, cpu cooler and thermal paste.

I am thinking of buying the following tomorrow

If they are available Ant Esports ICE-311MT for 4k or Lian Li 215 for 6k or Phanteks 360A for 6k

Last time when I asked deepcool AK400 was not available, is Deepcool Gammax 400 for 2.5k or Deepcool Gammax 800 good or shall I look for something else..

Avoid Lian Li 215, it seems the front fans are of cheap quality and fails sooner compare to other stock case fans, its also harder to replace. This info I got from IndianGaming discord server where some people who have the case confirmed.

The stock cooler is also not great for 5600X, but surely change the cabinet.

Get Ant one for something cheap, else get Lian Li 215.

See if you are satisfied with temps post cabinet upgrade.

Yes, Gammaxx 400 Pro is more than enough for 5600X.

Prices are good but it seems they don't come with front dust filters, only top. Found another case where they specifically mentioned about the front dust filter.

Front dust filter is extremely important in India because of insane amount of dust.
