suggest config

Hello,
One of my friends has a budget of 25k ( max 30k ) . he intends to use cad & C in it . I dont think the budget allows gaming . can u suggest a config for him .

personally , i felt he shud go 4 amd (he doesnt mind whether intel or amd..) since his budget is low and a crt monitor wud do 4 him and i think a decent onboard g-card may do .

the budget is inclusive of ups and i dunno abt table.(i think he already has one).

Considerin 30k max,

I suggest AMD wud be a wiser option coz u get decent onboard video with d recent 690G chipest with HDMI as well...

2 GB ram 667 Transcend fer around 4400...

Mobo + proccy- 12k max...

Then d rest...

if 2gb is wot u really need...then go for...
Intel C2D E4300 - Rs 4500
that'll save u a lotta bucks...
u can tuck in another 1gig of RAM. and jus stratch ur budget to get ur hands on fine grfx card like
XFX 7300GS
or
XFX 7300 LE
that'll set u bac by 3500 bucks...

^^^ Dun go with dat Intel RYCK board and a low-end C2D proccy coz unless u plan to o'clock, u cant unleash the true potential of the proccy...

At stok speeds, AMD can easily beat Intel;

Moreove u can easily put in a gfx card and a 2GB ram...

and i almost forgot . does cad need graphics card . the d965 has onboard gma x3000 , right ?. will he need anything more for cad ?
