1) What is your budget? (INR or USD) :
Ideally I want it keep around 30k INR with any coupons or cash-backs. I may think to up the budget if Core i5 6th gen is worth the upgrade.
2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
14 inch much preferred but 15.6 will do too. need lighter too
3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Office suite with PDF, Extensive browsing on chrome & Firefox simultaneously with 10 or more tabs opened on each browser, Playing music in background,
Need to play Full HD HEVC H265 encoded Movies smoothly,
casual gaming if possible but not necessary[Some racing stuff like NFS on low to mid setting]
Dual booting windows & Linux distros or completely on Linux [Driver support important].
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Not too picky now as my budget is low. Any decent brand with good service support network within Maharashtra or at least in Mumbai.
5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Cheapest Core i5 config with minimum 4GB DDR4 ram with expandable slot for ram. DDR3 ram will do if its not getting obsolete in next 2 -3 yrs.
Antiglare display or some quality panel & good viewing angles. Currently use some lenovo A8 lappy, Lenovo Flex 10 & Dell 11.6 touch panel display netbooks & I'm not happy with display[ Spoilt by Full HD Monitors & big screen Led tvs :winking_NF:]
Good battery life may be 5 to 7 hrs or more.
1 TB storage preferred but can compromise for 500 GB if other specs are good & cost around 30k or below :winking_NF:
Extended warranty preferred [Asus has few models]
6) Anything else you would like to say?
Any Screen resolution but need some quality panel with decent viewing angles so that 2 people can view the screen content properly.
Battery back up extended (5-7hrs or more)
Purchase place- Any mode within India but Paytm preferred for its cashback offers.
How are the new AMD A10-9600P powered notebooks??
Graphic card is unnecessary. If there is no i5 config around 30k then suggest some latest core i3 configs but it will be my last option.
