Sub 30K Laptop

My friend wanna buy a new Laptop. His budget is 30K.
He doesn't need anything extravagant. He just need mobility, with a decent config.And doesnt need Windows pre-installed, too!

Any suggestions ?

make sure u get WiFi and never go for celeron based lappy. @least p4 or centrino. also check out da ones from amd. but MAKE SURE U GET WIFI

Dell Laptops are good and one of the cheap is availabe in rs. 29995

Withing the 30k budget, you can go for Acer(Travelmate) /Compaq M2202TU -Celeron based Laptops or Sempron based Aspire series (3002nlc)

The Thread started has clearly mentioned that his friends needs a laptop within 30k. And there are no laptops for 30k in the Indian Market with Centrino Processors. Stop replying to such queries if you dont have the right info. Mind to tell which Dell Laptop is it for Rs. 29995/- ?

Wifi, centrino Recommendations for a guy who is asking for a laptop within 30k. Reply to queries strictly pertaining to the specifications and stop misguiding.

yeah Acer Aspire 3002 is a nice lappy. oura has reviewed it in this forum itself. You can search the forum for his review...

There is no laptop which will give you a Centrino 30k. Dell starts at 40k with their Inspiron 220 notebook. It comes with Celeron and WiFi.
