I have a shared folder on PC with a video file of size 4.5 GB. I used VLC for Android TV and was able to find the shared folder under " local network ". I could find the file and play it through VLC.
But every now and then it keeps buffering. The VLC icon will rotate just like when it is buffering in YouTube. I have a b/g/n router 2.4 GHz. I believe that my Mi TV has an N type adapter.
Why is it buffering ? Is it impossible to stream a shared folder file through WiFi ? At that time other devices were idle.
Any workaround possible ? Thanks.
