Strange Probleme with internet connection on Laptop

Hello,

I am using BSNL Broadband and have HP NX6325 Laptop

The problem I am facing is most of the webpages don't open and return
Page Load Error in Firefox and No server found in Google Chrome. Major
problem is with yahoo website. Whereas when I use my desktop to
surf, there is no problem. All websites open normally.

If you could suggest any solution to this.

* Be sure the firewall is not restricting the sites from opening
* Try OpenDNS
* Go for a complete and updated scan with: *www.superantispyware.com/download.html

The issue has been resolved.

The problem was with TCP/IP settings. Since I have changed
my Broadband plan to Unlimited, those settings were not
changed on laptop.

Now websites are opening normally.
