    My Views:
    Get OP 5T, if:
    - You love stock android (it has a decent amount of customization though)
    - AMOLED display (blacks are great)
    - Want great selfie camera
    - Hates glass back phones. Metal build is better IMO
    - Want the best performance for the price (You would observe better performance in games over S821, otherwise no observable difference between 821 & 835).

    Get View 10, if:
    - You hate stock android
    - Want great selfie camera
    - Want the best performance for the price (It is similar to S835 in CPU & GPU performance)
    - Want lots of storage (128GB vs 64GB in other two)
    - You want to save some money

    Get LG G6, if:
    - You hate stock android
    - Want better rear cameras with OIS on main one (G6's cameras are more useful than 5T's considering they even removed the zoom lens now, no portrait mode though)
    - Better brand value & support (LG is a bigger brand)
    - Better display than View 10 for sure. One of the best LCD displays with HDR certification, so its good
    - Waterproof
    - Would like a bit smaller phone (5.7" display is big enough)

Most popular phones get developer support. Among these 3, 5T might have best dev support but G6 shouldn't be far behind as it is a flagship. Personally I no longer root my phone because most of the feature that I want are already present in the modified android of Huawei, LG, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc. Also custom ROMs are never as reliable as stock ROMs.

I don't like mutilated versions of android so any phone which highly deviates from stock android is a bad choice IMO.

Guys any other decent mobile other than Honor 10 or OP5T?

Even if you want to suggest a phone below this budget, kindly suggest. My main preference are -

    3. Dual sim? - YES
    4. Preferred choice of brand? - Nothing specific
    5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)? - Dual camera, potrait mode and good night photography.
    6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, etc). - Android or STOCK one too
    7. Preferred connectivity options (3G, 4G ready). - 4g
    8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)? - Internet, Gaming, Photography
    10. Any other info that you want to share - Want decent battery (heavy calling) that holds good for dual sim.

See stock android vs custom ones (like EMUI of Huawei, MIUI of Xiaomi, LG & Samsung's UIs) are a matter of personal preference.

Custom ones might be a bit slower (but the difference is in milliseconds), so you will never see it unless you compare it with a stock android device side by side. But custom UIs have a lot of features & are good for people who don't want to tinker with their device a lot (like installing 3rd party apps & rooting). I personally hate stock android because of lack of features.

Oneplus's take on UI is a balance between stock & custom. It might not have as many features as custom ones but looks & feels like a stock one.

Nowadays the custom UIs are also neck to neck when compared to stock ones, see this for example:

For your requirements, even Nokia 7 Plus is good enough (I'm not sure if it has the portrait mode). Nokia 7 plus & Honor View 10 should have better battery life when compared to OP5T due to the larger battery.

In that budget, LG G6 & Samsung S7 might be the only phones with good night photography (better than others because of OIS).

Guys, have filtered all together a different sets.... Sorry.

Please suggest btw - Vivo V9 vs OPPO F7?

Have seen both the pieces in action. And felt Vivo is better in - Style, shape and photography.

Have heard the processor of OPPO is better than Vivo here; but frankly did not notice any major difference.

My say is Vivo V9. What do you guys suggest? Vivo V9 or OPPO F7?

Which phones are better: Oppo or Vivo or Oneplus?

    OnePlus.
Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus are all owned by BBK Electronics. They are all the same company. But each one serves a different purposes.
Oneplus is the premium flagship company, sort of how Apple positioned themselves.
Oppo is the company that is everything in-between they are like a cheaper Huawei.
Vivo is the bottom, selling the lowest quality phones for the lowest prices.

By this logic, Oppo should be the best, because it has a comparable phone to the OnePlus 5, but phones down into the low $100s. But no. Oppo does not have a solid definition of itself. Vivo does, but it's not a good one. OnePlus has the best definition of themselves. They are the company that makes the fastest and most powerful phones at an affordable cost.

So it's better to go with either Oneplus 5T or Nokia 7 Plus (Android One)
But I choose Nokia 7 Plus because Oneplus 6 is about to be released in a few months time. So 5T is already old where as Nokia 7 Plus is the newest phone with Android One arena which will guarantee faster android updates than any other phone in this price category.

Why not consider Nokia 8 which is now available at 29k on Nokia's Indian website?

No people in any tech forum will suggest Oppo & Vivo phones. If they do, they don't know well enough.

    Reasons:
    - These 2 companies usually put inferior SoCs for the price. Samsung/Moto phones have SoC of similar performance but they have better after sales, better brand value & are better built. In fact, Nokia has a phone that is better than both of them at 25k.
(Just for comparison, Redmi Note 5 has same SoC as Vivo V9 & RN5 Pro has one similar to Oppo F7)

    - Their UI is shit truth be told. People here say get stock because custom UI is slow. In reality, EMUI, MIUI, LG & Samsung's UI are much better optimized compared to the UI of Oppo & Vivo. Oppo & Vivo UI are bad.

    - These 2 companies rely heavily on marketing rather than actually making good phones (Oneplus does that). Sadly people do fall for the marketing. Do remember, higher MP in camera doesn't mean a better camera. Almost all flagships are using 12MP but try to improve the quality with each generation.

For about 25k, get Nokia 7 Plus. It's better than both of them (Design is a subjective issue):
    Compare vivo V9 vs. Oppo F7 vs. Nokia 7 plus - GSMArena.com

If you are willing to spend till 30k, my previous post explains in detail the pros & cons of the best options.

7 plus has better cameras (1.4 micron pixel , 1.75 aperture ) though lack ois ,excellent battery life , new design than Nokia 8.. Longer software support , Hence they are closely priced ..

Op please see comparisons between cameras of different brands on YouTube ,reviews etc first before buying . gsmarena review of 7 plus should be here in a week
