I bought the setup in 2019 with the help of this forum.
CPU : Ryzen R5 3600x
GPU : Zotac gtx 1660 ti
Ram : 16gb adata DDR4
MOBO : MSI B450 max
I bought all these things in 2019 while i bought PSU : 650 w in 2023.
All products are out of warranty except psu.
So should i upgrade for gaming & video editing ?some times i start facing lags ,also i did not paste anything on cpu since 2019,should i do it?( but i fear i break its pins)

R5 7600 + mobo + RAM will cost at least 40-45k, is a big jump up.

R9 7900 + mobo + RAM would be a great choice at 60k even though it is not much faster than R5 7600 for gaming. Waiting for 6 months will help with price drop of R9 9900X but its not like this is way faster vs R9 7900. 9800X3D is the best gaming CPU for now, will likely be the case for 2 years but it is like 15% slower for productivity vs R9 7900.

If you plan to upgrade GPU to say a 5080 in a year, can consider waiting for 9800X3D price drop, might have to wait at least 6 months. Else R9 7900 is great.

On a separate note, check temps & repaste the CPU. You don't have to reseat the CPU to repaste it, just have to reseat the cooler.

Mobo & RAM won't work that's why I wrote "R9 7900 + mobo + RAM". GPU, SSD, etc will work.
