Should I buy the Micromax A116HD ?

I am totally confused about buying the Micromax A116 HD..It has 1.2 Ghz Quad Core Processor and Awesome Display which can beat any phone at this price tag.My needs are HD gaming (All gameloft HD titles included..I heard that they are not compatible with Micromax with Mediatek handsets !!!!),watching HD movies if possible,listening to music and surfing occasionally.I think this fits my needs..only worry is that its battery is not enough (I think!) and from people's complaint all over the net that it has very poor after sales service(which is a must!!!)..

I will be rooting the phone..is there any easy way to root it for noobs like me?Is it safe?

Please let me know if its ok to buy it esp considering after sales service..If any one lives in Kolkata with a micromax set how is the service in Kolkata?

Yes, benchmarks do look good, but before buying, please enquire about MMX RMA/Service in your city. If it is good, then go for it.

3)No Custom Roms
4)No Updates to any future android
5)High Radation
6)Cheap quality
7)Rebranded chinese phone

Its a russian roulette, if you win its a awesome phone... if you lose you are dead. and all money down the drain. suggest wait for a lumia 620.

Don't go for the Specs if they don't matter to you . Better spend a little bit more and buy a branded phone which can meet your requirements.

O/W if you can afford spending time and patience and luck , ATB with MMX.

If u r willing to spend15k on a brand like micromax, better spend some more n get LG L9 in 18k. Its thr best phone in its range. Micromax after sales iservice is pathetic. My friend had mmx a100 n it stopped working after 2 months of purchase for no reasons. The phone is with company for last 40 days n still no solution. Neither they r able to repair it nor replace. Micromax sucks

Brother, the name Micromax is more than enough for not investing more than 5K.

OP: Beware of the "Other" storage bug, before buying a WP8 device. Be it L620 or L920.
