hi

iam using windows 2000 professional.i have 2 accounts

1.Administator
2.novice(restricted acc)

i want to implement the security which can be seen in SIFY IWAY's to my
novice account.

i tried using gpedit.msc but the administration account itself gets affected by the changing the security settings.

i dont want the novice acount users to change my wallpaper in the desktop or do nothing in the desktop.and also they shouldnt be able to access my c: and run any unwanted programs.i

the program what i specify should only be run by the user.other than that they shouldn't run anything.

simply in a single line i wanna apply SIFY IWAY SECURITY to my novice account.

i think changing ur C drive's file system to NTFS will provide u a bit security,As u can make folders in C ,private to admin only. I m sure it will work but there r ways to get admin account from restricted account(beware of that). Also there r s/ws to do this 4 u......... try googling. Also there r some registry settings which can make everything quite easy!!!!!
