I have a question more than Suggestion, Why 20" as from 19" it wont make any huge differnce, why would u like to spend extra money on a 20" ??

Greed , boy sheer Greed!
20 looks bigger dan 19", n it sure is..Is it? hehehe
no specifc reason, but it has an enhanced resolution of 1680x1050, a lot more than their 19" counterparts , and it is the same resolution in 22", so that makes the 20" category the sharpest one with more pixels in a lesser area.
yea, dats it...

quality in samsung .. ha lg n samsung are pathetic always low grade.

Philips is for the Top Notch, although its bad that full range is not available in india.

Dell is the one you can say good quality.

Viewsonic is a worldclass manufacturer - company has approximately $1 billion in worldwide sales annually.
also look at the range dude ... No one else haas so many models in lcd.
There is one with I-Pod dock - *ap.viewsonic.com/in/products/productspecs.php?id=295
*ap.viewsonic.com/product_photos/lcd/22/vx2245wm_m.jpg
Viewsonic is just gr8, its priced lower than samsung to capture the market .. they give 3 years on-site warranty. what else you need.

TN panels are the worst of the lot. P-MVA and S-IPS panels are expensive, but deliver quality unmatched by cheaper TN ones. Dell 2007WFP is one great 20" display out there. But it's expensive at ~25k.

Go for the Viewsonic if you want something less expensive.

The Viewsonic VX2025wm is a P-MVA panel giving a viewing angle of 176deg and is definitely better than the Samsung 206BW which is a TN panel with a viewing angle of 160deg.. The Viewsonic also outperforms the Dell Ultrasharp 2007wfp which is another quality MVA panel.. See the review here (results at the end).. *reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/viewsonic-vx2025wm/4505-3174_7-31747549.html?tag=sub

So IMO u should definitely go for the Viewsonic but I hope u knw that MVAs don't come cheap...

nope all the samsung lcds are TN panels including 226bw.. Here's a site for more info.. *www.pureoverclock.com/article641.html

A quick search on the net would tell u which panel is used in which monitors as the companies don't advertise it in the specs...

PS: which review says that the Samsung is better than the VX2025wm? could u post the link..

^^ yeah that would be amongst the TN panels.. but not when pitted against the MVA ones..
Well the VX2025wm is not listed on the Viewsonic Site here .. *ap.viewsonic.com/in/products/lcd/ .. But according to this post the VX2025wm was released in India.. So u could check out at a Viewsonic distributor...
Regarding the pricing, going by the price of other similar products, it should be priced arnd 20-21k..

well, dat is true but in a review a TN panel Samsung SM205BW was put against a superior S-IPS panel namely the Dell WFP2007, but at the end de inferior Samsung emerged the winner. How can dat b poosible?
