samsung i9003 getting restarted

Hi

All i am new to this forum. I have bought Samsung Sl i9003 last Sep.
From past few days I am getting problems with it.

Earlier It got hanged and suddenly got shutdown if it is not in use for hours.

I have taken it to samsung service center .. and they said that my firware was 2.2.1 because of this I am getting this problem. They have updated the firmware to 2.3.6 .

But this has given birth to a new problem, a horrible one ..
My phone keeps on getting restart .. and got struck to samsung screen ..
it has delted all my pics .. my phone contacts .. all data from SD card ..

I have again informed the samsung guys and they are confused now.

Could some one please help me out with what should i do.

I am new to this and please do not use any hard technical language

Well.. proper solution... take it to service center and tell them the problem.. let them take a look at it for a couple of days and if there is any problem, as them to replace the phone as its under warranty.
risky solution... in case ur sure there is no hardware fault.. go to XDA forums, root ur device and get a clean and light custom firmware on ur device. Stock firmwares are always buggy and loaded with crapware..

Install samsung kies (warning: it may seem as if it has got stuck. But no, samsungs coding skills at their best. Let it work). There must be a recovery option. It will reinstall the firmware, iirc. Else, only other option is taking it to service center.

Do soft reset and hard reset. It might help.
