Special investigators raided the headquarters building of Samsung on Tuesday as part of a bribery investigation.
The move followed Monday’s raid of the offices of Lee Kun-hee, chairman of Samsung, and the homes of some executives.
South Korea’s parliament in November approved an independent investigation after Kim Yong-chul, a former lawyer for Samsung, claimed the Korean conglomerate ran a lobbying network to bribe politicians and government officials, and many Samsung affiliates were involved in illegal book-keeping to cover it up.
