Samsung has announced it will scrap plasma TVs

Samsung is to stop producing plasma televisions (PDP TVs) by 30 November.
It said falling demand meant it would instead focus on producing curved and ultra-high-definition (UHD) TVs.

This was going to happen since the demand is going down way too rapidly and very soon UHD will be in the purchasing limit of a common man.
