Any other model better than this in the same range?

Literally any phone from Xiaomi and Oneplus (also LG G6) launched in 2018/17 and available in the price bracket.

A6+ should've been priced under 10k at best.

Edit: Even S7 is there. Why pick a wannabe midranger instead of flagship?

If your friend is looking for brand value, LG G6 is an excellent choice at 29k. Even Nokia 7 Plus is a good choice at 26k & Nokia 8 is going for 30k these days (although it has old 16:9 display, otherwise a good phone).

Even a used one plus 3T is better.
