New user here. Been going through the posts in the laptop section and am gonna be buying a laptop today.. please help with suggestion urgently...

finalised Y500 but having second thoughts about S05in and 17r Turbo

Also, needed StanC EMI so buying from Infibeam or The DO store... Any other options?

nope, i don't think so, however you can buy items for ultrabay .....if will be better if you ask this question on the official thread of Y500

hey if iam not wrong if you check ebay deals, there is a Dell 15R turbo FULL HD laptop for 56K. but with AMD 7730M which is very weak for 1080p display gaming, but if you play at medium settings at 1366x768p resolution, then no problem.

Hardly any difference in price.. How does this stack up against the Y500?

is the 750 worth giving up for a 17 inch FHD and 650?

Consider 750M as GTX660M........ because of similar performance. For gaming Y500 is best. But if u want an overall good multimedia laptop & if u r ok with size n weight of 17R, then get it. GT650M will run all games smoothly for next 2-3years too
