No need to get aggressive. I was just stating a news which I believed was true.
How do you know it's not fixed? You own one? How do you know the overheating is not a problem with only yours after the update?

I talked about the Samsung to make it a point with which we can make a comparison.. I also had a spice phone with a 3mp camera at one point, forgot which model.

I don't know about Zenfone 4 since the processor is x86 and I'm not sure about ASUS.

And about redmi overheating, I don't think xiaomi themselves would overclock it. Though it might explain certain chips overheating.

I'm currently thinking between MMX and moto e. I'm not sure if moto would have 'international' type customer service or it would become local here. Amazon has some good deals right now too. Though I don't know if buying a non android one mmx phone would be good.

Get Karbonn Sparkel V.Build quality is much better than MMX and doesn't have bugs like MMX.

my friend has two of them and a galaxy nexus
he loves tinkering around with roms etc so he got 2
hes running CM on one and MIUI on the other
and sailfish os on his galaxy nexus

im not getting aggressive,sorry if you felt offended

btw he says the overheating is lesser when he reduced clock speed to 1.2ghz

yep stick to these four-Lumia 520/525/530,zenfone,redmi 1s,Moto E and you should be fine imho,depending on features you want
Moto E and Lumia are safer buys though and have excellent after sales

How's the battery life? Are you able to go through a full day easily or do you have to recharge in the afternooon?

Yes the battery is little weak but it dosen't troubles me much as i have two phones and i use ASUS only in home when i am back to home after job in office.

But buying a power bank is great option.Xiaomi

yep i bought a xiaomi powerbank - 10400mah myself
the only xiaomi product i trust because of its LG/Samsung parts and texas instruments IC

Lumia 520, Lumia 525, Lumia 530 are good options. Do check other lumia 6 series. Nokia has good build quality in my opinion. Do check other phones mentioned above by digit users. You can also check gsmarena or phonearena for detailed specs. Hope this helps.
