Reliability of a refurbished HDD.

Recently i bought a WD 500 GB green HDD from a store in our neighbourhood-it was really cheap (around Rs 1200) and the vendor claimed that it was a new drive.

However when i tested it with crystal disk info after connecting it to my computer,i discovered that it had been powered on 115 times already and had logged 56671 power on hours, which is really long.

It seems this is not a new drive as the vendor claimed but an used one-but it has no bad sectors or any other defects apparently.

Is it a good idea to continue using this type of HDD or should i return it?Are such refurb/used hdds reliable?I wanted to use this hdd to store some of my games as i was running out of space on my exisiting 1 tb hdd.

Please advice what i should do.

I thought as much,it doesn't seem like a good idea to continue using this.

Maybe i could buy a new 1tb hdd by paying around 2k more.
