Doesn't look like there is a better option than RN6pro, New mobile Needed -Upgrade from Redmi Note4

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is launching this month, 11 Dec or so I think. If it continues having stock android, it would be a good choice.
Other than that I agree with Sunil, 6 Pro has a better camera, but Honor 8X seems to be a good choice as well. 8X has a dedicated SD card slot & a better SoC, so better for gaming.
Moto One Power is a decent Android One device but weighs a lot (205g or so). Nokia 6.1 Plus is a good choice if you want a compact device.
