Real Speed Of Internet Connection

Hey guys i wanna know whether there is an software to find out the real speed of the internet. I dont have belief on the speed said by my ISP & the speed shown in my sys tray.

Do u guys have belief on the speed of ur connection ?????????????

if you have winxp then task manager's network tab can show show you the exact speed of data transfer taking place at the moment

www.testmy.net and test your connection speed

ur speed varies time to time if u use dialup
even it will show 33.6 and give sometimes 28.8 or less

so the results at testmy.net will alwyas be variable according to the speed at which u have connected and at which the isp is providig at that moment

www.speed-test.net is another site to check your bandwidth. It uses a java applet though.

if u r using firefox get the "band width tester" extension. really simple and alwayz available for u.
