RE5 making monitor off

Hi friend !

Yesterday i installed window 7 ultimate. Everything is fine. But having a funny problem with re5 in directx 10 mode
when i play it in directx 10 mode , exactly after 15 min my monitor goes off. " I have to press alt+ctrl+del to make it normal again , after playing 15 min it again does same.

all other games like GTA4 , BIOSHOCK 2 , DMC4 , all are fine and also noticed increased fps in gta4.

Please tell me what is the problem.

PS: I ONLY WANT TO PLAY IT IN DX10 COZ OF GRAPHICS.


Windows 7 ultimate build 7600 (x86)
intel C2D:e8400 2.93 GHZ
2 GB ram
HD6770
fsp saga ii 500w

Try disabling AA in the game

^still same.... Also tried various res. , motion blur but no luck.
Directx 9 working fine.

Only this game causing this problem with dx10 but in dx10 mode graphics and fps are better.

Update the directx+windows+game to their latest version & see else try any older version of the drivers

^ Yes . I reinstalled but still same. Can't figure what is problem
playing in dx9
