Guys I wanna know about this.
Since I am planing to build a new pc..I am doing a complete research on every field.

Now here I come. The RAM issue.

I am going to purchase a 3 GB (1x3gb) DDR3 RAM for my core i7.

In many websites I have found the RAM costs less when it's latency is bigger.
So what it does to the RAM?
Is it all about the variation of speed?
or I is it all about the power consumption?...
I chose this forum but the google.

The price of the RAM is here..from where I am going to purchase soon.

Regards. :)

Ya. For a real world example :

I've tested DDR2 667Mhz mem with 5-5-5-15 latency which gives 6.2GBs banwidth in everest.
But when I lowered the Latency to 4-4-4-12 it just gives 1.2GBs more bandwidth.
