My laptop has Intel HD Graphics GT2, and it can run 2010 games like Aliens vs Predator at low settings. So how powerful are Radeon 5450 or 6450 over GT2? I want a cheap card for my desktop (P 4 3.0 Ghz, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, MB Intel DG102GGC2) which I'll connect to my LED TV which is half HD (1366 X 768).

I'm not a hardcore gamer, so if the two Radeons I've mentioned can perform better than Intel GT2, they should be enough for my needs. The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite, i3 2350M, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, don't know which motherboard but CPUZ gives the mainboard as Chipset - Sandybridge and Southbridge - HM 65.

Are you sure your laptop has GT2 graphics because they are supposed to come out with Haswell(4th gen) and your laptop has 2nd Gen processor
Anyway the HD 5450 should outperform the mobile gpu ion your lappy and should be adequate for your needs

CPU tab in CPUZ

Name: Intel Core i3 2350M
Code Name: Sandy Bridge
Max TDP: 35 W
Package: Socket 988B rPGA
Technology : 32 nm

There's a lot of stuff here!

Family and ext. Family: 6
Model: A, ext. Model: 2A
Stepping: 7
Revision: D2

Will this be enough?

Graphics tab is all greyed out but it says:
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

GPUZ says
Name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
GPU: GT2
Technology: 32 nm
Release date: Jan 5, 2011

Will I have to type everything?

:(

HD 5450 is around the same level as Intel HD 3000 (GT2). HD 6450 is a bit faster but not worth it.

I'll suggest you to get a HD 5570 or HD 6570 because this is definitely faster.
