r9 270 vs r9 270x

Hello, everyone.
R9 270x = 15200
R9 270 = 13800.
I was thinking if it is worth to spend 1400 extra on a overclocked card ? If i want extra performance i can always overclock R9 270. Which card i should buy and please suggest a PSU too. My config is 4GB ram,one HDD 5400 rpm,955 BE,Hyper TX3 cooler,M4A88T-MLE mobo. Thanks.

According to NCIXTechTips reviews, Both provide almost the exact same performance, but its generally better to go for 270X IMO..
if you are short on budget go with 270,

you wont notice the difference anyway.. well maybe slightly

because the X model generally have better cooling and are already overclocked than the non x model..
Factory overclocks are always safer than user overclocks right ?

still, the 270 loses only 2 frames in C3.. very good purchase IMO

Yeah, and most of the difference lie in the games where these GPU are already churning out decent frame rates so i will stick to 270. I mean what advantage 84 frame holds over 74 ? I don't think i will notice any difference in real world.

I don't think so. It was there for several weeks. I was checking the prices regularly. Try locally, you will get good prices.
