This is a strange question, but hear me out.
We have a Wifi connection in our office, and earlier, everyone in the office knew the password, and everyone was busy using Facebook, Whatsapp, etc on their mobile, and because of this, the one or two persons who actually needed the Internet for work could not open any sites at all, since there were too many devices using the same connection and they were all busy downloading. There are only two people in the office who know how to set up the Wifi connection, and that too, only up to some extent, and so we changed the password, I am the one who did it, and now only four people know the password. I always try to hide the fact that I know the password, but one of us sits right in front of everyone and uses his laptop, and everyone keeps asking him where he's getting the connection from, and we reply that he has turned on his mobile's data connection and is using his mobile as a Wifi hotspot. The rest keep asking us about the office Wifi password, but we keep saying the net is down, or that the computer-wala changed the Wifi password and we don't know it, etc.
But, we who know the office Wifi password also need to use the net, and when we are using it on our mobiles, we can always say we are using mobile data (even here, the rest can see that the Wifi icon is present at the top of the mobile screen, so we stand in a corner when using the office Wifi on our mobiles). Two of us, which includes me, also use the laptop, and while earlier we gave the mobile hotspot excuse, the rest have now become suspicious because they know the difference in speed between the 2 mbps office Wifi and the mobile data hotspot Wifi. They don't know much about computers, but they do know that the icon at the bottom right of the screen shows that the laptop is connected to the Wifi network, so I hid that icon. Even then, there are problems.
What I want to do is this: I want to turn on the laptop and let it lie right in front of everyone. I'll connect to the office Wifi connection, turn on Utorrent and start the download, then press the 'X' button at the top so that Utorrent minimizes to the system tray, not the taskbar, so no one will come to know that I'm downloading using the office Wifi connection. But the Firefox icon is still present on the desktop, and I could hide it, but then everyone would smell a rat (they'd ask: "why have you turned on your laptop when there is no Wifi connection and you are not using the laptop at all?"), and if I don't hide it, they would open Firefox and start browsing, and when they see the 2 mbps speed, they'll ask how come the mobile hotspot Wifi is so fast. So what I want to do is:
[1] Firefox should not use ANY Wifi connection, even if the laptop is connected to the office Wifi, and at the same time, Utorrent should continue downloading using the office Wifi. This way, anyone who opens Firefox and tries to open a webpage will get a internet connection error on Firefox.
OR
[2] Utorrent should use the office Wifi, and Firefox should use my mobile data connection through the mobile hotspot. This way, anyone who opens Firefox and tries to open any webpage will get tired because of the slow mobile hotspot Wifi and leave. If possible, I should have an option to switch to office Wifi for Firefox when no one is watching, so I can use the higher speed office Wifi and also not eat up my mobile data. The problem is, the laptop (Win 7 x64) allows only one Wifi connection at a time; it won't connect to two separate Wifi connections at the same time.
I know, the three or four people who know the office Wifi password are creeps, but that's how it is.
