Hi
I want to upgrade my Processor in my PC,
I have Pentium 4 CPU 1.6GHz (Intel Processor)and I want to upgrade to AMD, I have heard that AMD is good for Graphic, As I am a GUI designer I want go fo the processor which is good for graphic, So I would like to know if any have a good experience with AMD or using it. I have even heard that AMD is having heating prob, is that true?

Thanks in advance.

Graphics depend more on your graphics card than a processor. You can try the Quadro series from nVidia for your graphics needs. www.nvidia.com

Yes AMD had heating issues before, but dosen't anymore.

why need title?
well u can upgrade to AMD but u need to have a AMD compat. mobo.. and as for gfx there is not much difference between the both.. as far as i know.. but then if u want a gud onboard gfx get a nforce 2.. or get a AMD athlon 3200+ and get a gud gfx card like ATI radeon 9600 pro or a 6600 GT..

Get an amd 3500 90nm cpu + asus sli mobo with twin 6800GT then you have a good graphics workstation monitor samsung / sony 19" CRT.
AMD has no heating problem infact intel perscot range has a very bad heating problem so rest assured on that one.
