Query regarding Lenovo ideapad.

Hi,
I am planning to buy laptop within two weeks. I had shortlisted lenovo Z570 @ 38k. But now I came to know that nvidia GT 525M has some issues. Systems with this GPU are not able to use this memory and instead using onboard graphics. So is it necessary to wait for some more weeks, or I should not buy this model?
Also I have seen the posts in lenovo forum, regarding display issues and overheating, shutdown issues in lenovo ideapad Z series? What are your suggestions on this?
I want a laptop @ 40k and should last for 4 to 5 years easily. Please advise?

I have brought the same laptop a few weeks back and rest assured its running smoothly.
I don't know what your requirements from the laptop are?But coming to graphics,it can handle Sims3(yeah!though a gamer,I prefer my PS3 ;) )quite nicely.Don't expect it to be a graphics monster. Its just an entry level card designed for HD playbacks, modest rendering and casual gaming. As for the overheating, shutdown issues I haven't experienced anything..Get a coolpad/Laptop stand if you are that concerned.

Also with your budget, you can look into Dell Inspiron M501r.

All the best! :D

If you are not serious in gaming, then throw a consideration towards the thinkpad brands too.... They are really worth the buy.

I have a lenovo Ideapad z560 laptop. I'm also experiencing the overheating problems. Even after service from lenovo service center, the problem of overheating is persistent.
The other things such as performance, graphics etc are cool!
