Hello Guys, Since I will be staying Germany for 2 years or more I would like to purchase a new mobile. Below is the details regarding my erquirement:
1. Budget: around 500-550 Euros
2. Display type and size: Something around 5 - 5.5 inches(AM flexible about this)
3. Dual sim(Will be great but not necessary)
4. Preferred choice of brand: Any brand with easily available service center in Germany like Samsung or huawei
5. What camera option you want : Dont care much about this. A Decent back camera is more than enough
6. Preferred operating system: Android
7. Preferred connectivity options: 4G
8. Primary use of handset: Daily use of calls, messaging and emails. Also for watching videos and playing games occasionally. So decent battery will be great.
9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration: Samsung galaxy s8
10. Any other info that you want to share: I would really like if the phone has the battery to survive atleast whole day without charging with standard use. Dash charging will be a great option as well but not necessary.

Thanks for the help in advance.

S8 is a good choice & it does have its own fast charging. For me, it easily lasts a day on wifi with about 4hrs+ SOT.

I personally don't think there will be any competitor to S8 considering compact phones. Sony phones are overpriced. Huawei P10 is decent too if it is available but it is worth buying if its 100 euros less than S8. But it has an inferior display. I don't know if the storage & RAM of P10 are still allocated based on a lottery system.
