Processor for Socket 754

I hv a socket 754 motherboard....and a 3200+.....i'd just like to know what's the fastest processor one can get for this socket.....w/o changing the mobo i'd jus change the processor....and if it'd be worth it changing my current processor for "that" one...n how much it costs.

u do have higher speed procs for tht socket
like the 3700+
but i dont think they are worth the price

and moreover
the proc speed depends on ur needs

Hey d....

Instead of thinking of the proccy......Think of a new mobo...Thelatest socket 939 board is "the" thing to go in for......Its future proof for atleast the next 3 years frm now....

if i had the bucks, i'd go for it, mate!! i am already over-spending n my dad's hvin a fit lookin at petrol bills for my bike... if i ask him for a 939 board six months after buying a 754 board, he'll disown me, to say the least i'll hv to make do with this...newayz getting a powerbook g4 in the nxt two months....
