Broken In
Hi all,

I have an XFX nForce 630i/1333MHz/GeForce 7150GPU with 256MB DDR2 Motherboard which has issues with Front Audio, specifically, the Microphone. The Distributors have agreed to give me a Board of my choice, though they only handle XFX and ASUS MoBos.

Since I'm a noob when it comes to H/w, I'm not sure how to choose a MoBo that's compatible with the other components of my PC. Here's a list of my PC Components:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz 3MB L2 Cache
GPU: XFX GF 9500GT with 512MB
TV Tuner Card: PixelView PlayTV Pro 3
RAM: 2x2 GB Transcend
HDD: 500 GB SeaGate
Cabinet: Mercury Vertex 24 with 500W SMPS
KB & Mouse: Logitech Cordless EX90
Speakers: Creative SBS 5.1 560
OS: XP Pro Home Premium 64bit/Vista Ultimate 64bit

I am thinking of getting a more advanced MoBo with Sli/crossfire, more than one PCI express x16 slots, 6 or more USB ports, 8-channel audio, and other future-ready stuff like HDMI, etc. It should also have a good HeatSink and is 'Green'.

I'd be grateful if you could suggest me a MoBo that meets my requirements. And my budget would be around Rs.5,000 to Rs.6,000.

Thanks,
Bravo.
