Problems with Flash Player

Hello friends,
I am getting some problem with my Flash. Till last night, it was working fine and all programs with flash were okay too. But all of a sudden from this morning,it shows that I don't have the latest version of Flash. But I downloaded it and tried to install the current version ,it still dosen't improves. Moreover Macromedia site shows I have the latest version [8.0.22.0] of it.

So, can anyone please tell me what is the reason for this ? :roll:

Open Start -> Run and type following:

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash8.ocx

It'll give u a message like "DLLRegisterServer in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash8.ocx succeeded"...

Thank you Vishal for your advice, but I got this :
DLLRegisterServer in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash8.ocx failed
Return code was :0x80070005

Now, what should I do ?
Also, what is wrong with my system ? And how to prevent it ? Is it affected by some virus ?

Well said dude!
This ERROR occurs, when the user has no Administration rights!

Return code was: 0x80070005

If u r not logged in as Administrator, then login using Administrator account!

Thank you very much Vishal and also Saurav_cheeta. You two were right, I really didn't had the Administrator's right .
I have finally sorted out the flash problem.

Now,Vishal, will you please tell me how to make Windows recognise the current DirectX version,as I have the same problem with it too. Have the latest DirectX, but programmes says it is not. :roll:

And also, why did this happened all of a sudden ? Is there any way to prevent this malfunctioning in any way ?
