Right off the assembly line
I am using AMD Athlon 2200+ processor on a Asus A7N266-VM
motherboard (Nvidia nforce chipset) , 350 Watt power supply, 384 MB PC 2100 DDR RAM, Samtron 56V 15" Monitor, the motherboard is having 4X AGP slot (AGP 2.0). Operating system is Windows XP SP2. I was using ASUS GeForce MX 4000 (128MB/8X/DVI) AGP card, & it is working fine.
Recently i purchased a PALIT GeforceFx 5200 (128 MB/8X/DVI/TVOUT) AGP card & installed it on my system with NVIDIA display driver ver. 77.72. But when the system is restarted the monitor goes into standby position. Every time system is booted & Windows XP is started, the monitor goes into standby position, then i have to restart my system manually.
Sometimes the windows XP is loaded properly but when i try playing any game the monitor again goes to standby mode.
Ive installed latest nvidia drivers but it could not solve my problem.
I have tried almost all tricks & worked on all tips but unfortunately not got the proper solution.
