I have a rather annoying problem over here. I just got the XFX 6600GT 128mb DDR3.
When i play any games the new ones normally, one day it will work fine the other day it minimizes the game and comes up with with window having message
'Power Sentinel problem - due to lack of power getting to the graphics card, graphics performance has been lowered to a safe level'.
Now I have 500 watts powersafe SMPS. And to take extra care A direct path from supply to the card fixed and the y connector is kept free.
What cud be the problem, it doesnt happen on daily basis tho, which is more concerning
