I agree to each and every point you said here, My dad too himself is a studio maker, each and every setup he used to do had Kingston RAM with lifetime warranty, since last 2 years he started using ZION due to scarce Kingston, each and every one of them failed.^BAD BAD DECISION
In my experience, maintaining 20 computers in my dad's office, all of which previously had zion RAM, about 4 of them went bad in 2 years time
Never ever buy simmtronics or zion RAM if you can help it..
Kingston HyperXFury, Corsair ValueRAM, Gskill etc are good companies
EVM and Strontium fall under the above but have good track record..
Right now, there's tonnes of fake transcend RAMs so avoid it
Hynix are amazing, one of the first ddr4Corsair, Transcend, Kingston, Gskill are top brand RAMs
even Hynix is better than Zion.
there are lot of other brands but don't know about quality (Adata, Mushkin etc)
