Hey dudes...
Planning to buy 22" TFT for gaming and programming.
22" TFT for programming ???? i could do the programming with my old 15" CRT monitor or even those old green tinted ones,on which i really learnt pascal,C and C++.
if u say its for gaming and for movies one can understand ...but dude programming !! ?
I m stuck between these :
AOC , Acer , Dell and ViewSonic.
What do u suggest under 13k?
dell is best out of these but AFAIK its not available for 13k... min is 14.5k +taxes.
Also is 2ms any better than 5ms for gaming ? Also is a contrast ratio of 3000:1 better ?
2ms is GTG(gray to gray) timing means switching time from gray pixel to another one and back to grey ...but what we really want is color to switch back which is 5 ms here
in theory human eye can only differentiate a response time of only 6ms to 8ms so anything less than that is perfectly fine ...u won't notice any ghost view or trails ...
most of the monitors in market are giving u 2ms GTG and 5 ms B2B...but its always better to look of they are providing it or not!
for contrast ratio the higher contrast Ratio the better ...look which contrast ratio is that dynamic of static.
I have heard that AOC TFTs r better than ViewSonic TFTs , is it ?
no idea about AOC but know for sure that dell's monitors are really cool ..everything looks great on them.
u have an option of BenQ E2200HD which is 21.5" but supports 1900x1200 resolution ...that means full HD...the only 22" monitor to do so its available at 13.3k or so ....
