I5 3rd gen, 1gb graphic card, 4 or 6 gb ram, windows or dos both can be used


4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: hp dell lenovo sony
b. Dislike: acer msi


6) Anything else you would like to say?
Battery backup should be good..4 hrs

I have planned for lenovo z500 does any other option in les money..OO

You can try Samsung. HP is also good. If your game Crysis 3 can run comfortably with i3 then opt for i3... perhaps problem with heating will get solved.

Difficult to get a laptop in your mentioned budget. Have a look at this: Acer V5-571G 15.6" Notebook|
Goes well with your required specifications, but a couple grands more than your budget.

I have already read that one...but he mentioned he is getting a battery backup of 6hrs etc..but for 4cell it is too far..also frm various sources i read some are getting 2hrs..just want to know if someone had it with backup..

Lenovo batteries are not good. I have learnt this from several friends who are using their Laptops.

I have used HP and Samsung ones. Their backup is a decent 3-1/2 to 4 hours. I donot know any giving 6 hrs. backup.
