please suggest a portable video player

Is there any video player around which can play avi, mkv and other popular video formats? The storage capacity should be alteast 20-30 gb.

I am not looking for a media player. I am looking for something of a size of mobile phone(or little more) with an inbuilt screen which i can carry all the time.

Budget wouldn't be the issue. The Cowon seems decent.

I think it doesn't play mkv though.

Also...how long would the battery last for such players for a video file? I believe video consumes too much of a battery.

I have heard that the bigger Cowon players are not as good. Please read reviews before you zero in on one.
