I have intel 845GBF motherboard.... running intel pIV 2.4 Ghz imb L2 cache and 256 Mb 366 Mhz hynix ram

i wanted to buy 3 Ghz 478 pin PIV and 512 mb Trnscend ram and 6600 GT Agp 8x Geforce... but reccently while surfing the foru i heard the mobo is not good....

have i made a mistake buying it..... what should i do... buy another mobo.... i want only intel.....

can someone quote price of Geforce 6600 GT AGP 8x.....

If you are upgrading you must upgrade to PCIe .That is Intel 915 and a LGA 775 processor and a PCIe graphics card.

i do not wanted to spend more money now... can i play latest games on the following config....

1. i spend only on ram and graphics card....
Intel 865 GBF
1 GB transend ram
Intel PIV 1mb cache
6200 AGP 8X graphics card

2. Same as number 1 but i upgrade to pIV 3 Ghz 478 pin package
