Please help me in choosing a good 23" monitor

Hello, I am looking for a good 23-22 inch monitor for home use. I don`t want any 3D features neither I do any professional graphics work. What I will be using that monitor for will be most of the times gaming and movie watching.
So, far I had a look at ASUS ML238H and Samsung S23A300B .
However Asus`s one gets a little costly for me, samsung fits best in budget. Which one should I get?
I personally liked the Asus one, but is it outdated? and will be really worth to spend some 2k more on it over samsung?

There are many monitors in 23'' but i prefer from samsung or dell.
I m currently using samsung S23A350H . It's a good monitor with HDMI and VGA port and the colours are also amazing. My next suggestion will be DELL ST2420L or ST2320L. These are also very good in performance. These dell's monitors have simple look but very good picture quality. Go either for dell or samsung
