Need your help in buying a laptop. Its for my sister. She is a Civil Engineer and needs a thin compact laptop to always carry around. She has Extended displays set up in both her home and office, so smaller and thinner laptop is most preferrable.
1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
50 - 55k
2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
MS Office, Auto Cad, Websurfing and seeing movies
5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
None. Just need a brand with good after sales service.

- Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen - Suggestions welcome if it is a thin and light one in this category.

- Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) ) - Max possible
- Purchase place ( Online (eg - flipkart, infibeam) / Local / Abroad (do mention the country) ) - Online most preferrable
