Planning to buy ipod touch

Guys i am planning to buy an ipod touch after my board exams this year in about 3 months or so... i was wondering if you could suggest me which one to get . my budget is around 15k for ipod touch alongwith some good headphones and the silicon case with the screen guard .

I have listed the ipod touch 3rd generation 8 gb and 32 gb models

my basic requirements would be for movies [ about 10 gb ] and not many songs i am not a big music fan but some hardcore gaming on the go because i plan to sell my psp 3004

dont buy the 3rd gen 8gb.

It doesnt come with mic. so you wont be able to use the ovice commands feature. Also, the CPU of the 8gb one is the same as the previous gens, it is NOT faster than the 2nd gen.

So go far the 3rd gen 32gb. It is remarkably faster than the previous gen touch.

dude thanks for the reply but i really think now is it better if i got the New microsoft zune HD 16GB? because it has a nvidia tegra 2600APX GPU and 2 arm processors . i saw one video with a guy playing PGR on the zune and the shaders and models were better than those on the PSP !! [ no offence sony ]

do remember that there is no support at all for zune in India. And moreover, there are more games available for ipod touch and it comes with 1yr warranty in India. for zune, if you face issues, you have to ship it back to USA.

my pick in current situation will be ipod touch.

dude,actually i want to buy after 3 months or so .... what will be the approx price by then? i want to study all PMPs available before i actually but one ...


anyways i will be jailbreaking the ipod touch if i get one to insall the apps . so the warranty does not really matter... + you have to but all good games from the app store ... the other way round is to only use cydia [ jailbreak ]

and that you have to download all the games to ipod touch directly ... zune you can transfer from pc
