I am going to purchase a phone for my dad. The following are my requirements:-
*Budget : below 10k
*Camera :13MP not front cam)(or any good quality camera), with auto-focus and flash.
*OS: Anything

Another important thing is phone must be smooth to use. It should not get stuck while using because of low RAM or any other reasons. If screen is wide, then better.

*Camera : 16MP or less, with auto-focus and flash. (About front camera, no issues any megapixels will do)
*Screen : big one, 4.4 inch or above
*Budget : below 10k
*RAM: 2GB
*Dual SIM : yes
*Brand: except Samsung anything.
*OS: Android is preference (Windows will also do)
*Connectivity options : Must essentially support 3G
*Primary use of Phone: Calling (of course ), taking high quality pictures using camera, Web browsing, WhatsApp, Facebook. ( the phone should be smooth to use)

Gear up ...
Check these:
- Yureka (best possible specs for price, only con is below average battery life......maybe 5.5" would be humongous for you :p)
- Honor 4X (performance inferior to yureka but sufficient, better battery life but heavy, also 5.5")
- Honor 4C (5" display, sufficient perfromance)
- Xiaomi Mi4i (13k, 5" display, good specs, good display n camera but no sd card slot n heating issues while playing games for long time)

[MENTION=60562]anupam_pb[/MENTION] Out of the four phones you suggested, I will go for either honor 4C or yu yureka. Has anyone used honor 4C? How is it's battery life. Does it easily gets heated up? (My mom has Spice androidone phone, it gets heated up easily that's why....)Is it better than yu yureka? I was thinking to buy yureka but it's battery worries me. Also does honor 4C supports USB OTG?

Check flipkart for reviews........ All phones heat up while charging, gaming, browsing internet using 3G/4G, doing anything that puts stress on cpu or gpu

Hey guys,
Please help me.... Is honor 4C better OR yu yureka???... Whose battery lasts longer... ? Whose camera is better? After reading yu yureka reviews... It seems cyanogen OS has lot bugs... Is 1.2 Ghz octacore + 2GB RAM sufficient for good smooth user experience.. I read in some website that HiSilicon Kirin 620 is better than snapdragon 615. Is it true?

Guys, I am stuck with yu yureka and honor 4C... Which one is best to buy...

Let me share the bad experience of my dad's previous android phone (samsung gt-s5302)
The phone :
*Had bad user experience (when tried to open a app, it would take almost 5seconds)
*When dialed a call, it would connect after a long time... So dad would think call wasn't made.. Hence would press call button again and again.... So the call would be made multiple times even after disconnecting call and money would then be wasted unnecessarily
*Camera quality was poor


I want to make sure the phone which I would buy must not have any such problem.... So help me

Yureka is better than any samdung phone you can get under 15k. Crapwiz is one the reasons their overpriced low end phones lag too much.

OK all... A lot many of you recommended Lumia.. Lumia 640 has 1.2 ghz quad core and 1GB RAM.. Will that hamper the user experience.. I mean will the phone be slow to use? ..,(since ram is less). I believe you guys for the phone's camera quality, but speed and good user experience is also important to me.. OS is no issue

I am currently using lumia 640 after returning moto g2 and Zenfone 2. Windows phone os is not resource hungry like android os. So, 1GB of wp= 2Gb of android os.
Believe me WP phone is great but only problem is limited app but all imported app are there

if you are really buying mobile for your dad then eye close buy any window mobile . earlier my mother used to had tough time with android mobile . i brought her window mobile now she enjoy using it . no lag no unneccery stuff just simple thing . Android is good for new guys not old guys atleast what i have notice .
