From what I know, girls are fond of listening to music. So ask her if available memory would be enough for her and pick something that comes with great earphones.

^^ android is not for geeks only otherwise it won't be so successful. anybody can use an Android phone. Moto G is a good phone. But before buying take a look @ the moto g discussion thread for known problems and its solutions.

If you want windows, Lumia 720 is a gr8 option !! Has a Excellent Camera & looks pretty good

720 might be better looking but Moto G looks great too..........
Moreover you have dozens of customization options in Android (now don't say me that its for advanced users........ installing launchers & changing themes are easy stuff)

lol yea,., she is already aware of these things as she has used my s3 a lot it was my bad i used the word geek
i myself am inclined toward moto g but still will let her use both the phone.. but will probably go with moto G

Havent read the previous posts but people are swearing by Moto g.

Flipside is it is available only on flipkart.
