9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?I am getting Nexus 5 for 24k
10. Any other info that you want to share He is kinda inclined towards Nexus 5. But what I fear is that will the hardware be able to hold itself for the next 2 years or so. Need you guys suggestions on this.

Nexus 5 hardware is good enough.
For instance, 2 years old Snapdragon S4 Pro powering Nexus 4 is still good. It handles all tasks with ease, plays all the games smoothly

I just hate my phone's battery life because after 1.5 years, it became even more worse. Plus can't change the battery. Storage is bothering me a bit, since I have my laptop with me every time, so it isn't a problem. Those demerits aside no other problem. Satisfied with camera.

For a futureproof phone, I guess N5 won't be good choice as its battery life isn't good either, better get LG G2

LG G2 or Nexus 5
both have kinda similiar hardware(G2 has better camera,sd card slot ,screen etc) but depending on preference both are very safe buys
Nexus 5 gets extra points for sleek design, update system etc

Moto X 2014 is worth checking out
overall I love the Nexus 5 in this range out of all the phones though

Nexus 5 or S5. S5 is available on eBay for around 30k I think, without manufacturer warranty though. The latter is a far better phone in every aspect than Nexus 5 except the software part. LG can't be compared with Samsung anyway.

no point in spending over 15k for a warranty less phone.

LG>>>>>>>>>>>>>Samdung

samesung phones arent worth it
their service centres are a mess and their staff is arrogant and rude
touchwiz is filled with bloat
custom roms always have a catch because most samsungs use closed source exynos cpus
repairing a samsung is easy but the plastic quality and bezels are easy to break and often a repair comes with more costs because parts break easily when opening the phone etc unless you want a repaired phone with a broken bezel or body
my last samsung device(in my household) was the S4 and my own last samsung was an S3 and i feel samsung quality has gone down in quality since the GS2(a legendary phone imho)
rather get an LG or a Moto over Samesung

That's your opinion, not a fact. LG is still a new kid in smartphone race. Be practical, no one wants to know what phone you prefer, OP asked for what phone might suit him best, not you.

Utterly stupid and blatant comment filled with nonsense top to bottom.

Samsung service centres are one of the best out here in India. People who complain about their SC have zero idea about Sony's, HTC's service then.

The only thing Samsung has bad is their software, that's all. The completeness of package of a high end Samsung smartphone can't be compared with a LG or Motorola, they are not even in the same league, hardware wise especially. HTC might give them some fight, but they are the only one out there. Sony is okay.

Or maybe his gf is golden hearted

shadow..don't mind, just kidding. It's his own money and he has every right to spend it on whatever/whichever he wishes.

P.s.I think Lumia 1020 is the best option at this price range. No android phone at this price range offers great vfm. Moto X, Sony Xperia Z, Z1, Z2 have screen cracking issues (read from reviews) so not a good option i think.
