im planning to buy a new phone
please help me out

budget :: 15k max
platform :: android
requirements :: not as such, 'jack of all trades' type; it should lag atleast
when to buy :: july end

now im actually confused to go with a branded phone(i knw branded phones wont have much features at this price) or the local brands
please help me with this
tell a phone except xperia m (il buy that if it launches at 13k)

4. Preferred choice of brand?
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type). touchscreen
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera. front cam needed
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc). android
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly. wont use 3g, a bit wifi now and then
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)? gaming and lots of whatsapp
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? xperia m
12. Any other info that you want to share- a battery would be helpful

LG Optimus L9 (has ICS, though Update to 4.1.2 has released)

Lenovo S890 (has 4.2 JB)

Lenovo P770 (you could save ~3k if you get this ;) )

^^ these are Chinese buddy, many times worse than the Quality and ASS of companies like Samsung, Sony, LG, Lenovo, etc.

IMO, you should not buy cheap sets, buy a good one, since you have the budget.

Afaik, almost every phone is made in china, this DOES NOT make it a "Chinese" phone. hope OP got the point. ;)

since OP has enough budget to buy a decent Android from a reputed brand, IMO, buying companies like lava/ MMX, Intex, Karbonn, I ball , with such a decent budget is NEVER suggested

anyways, thats just my :2cents:, think before you buy :)

OP may want to see Lumia 520& save bucks or get a Lumia 720 IMO..
