Sure I buy that statement. Personally I find Asus and Gigabyte better with regards to after sales service. But what to do when you don't have good boards from them.
Since here it's an non OC APU, anything would be fine. Even if OP finds Fatal1ty or Pro 4 available, and still choose to stick with Asus or Gigabyte wouldn't be an issue.

Mine is personal experience with Asrock Mobo and their RMA is terrible in India.
MSI is much better than them as a matter of fact. mod edit:see below

for this combination AMD RYZEN 5 3400G + DDR4 3600MHz RAM Module. my confusion between this Micro ATX B450 motherboard. i know that DDR4 3600mhz is too much for RYZEN 5 3400G , i know that other cheaper Micro ATX B450 motherboards are available with DDR4 3200 MHz Maximum support,
i noticed that price is very similar between DDR4 3600mhz & DDR4 3200mhz.
i chose this motherboard according to my budget & better VRM heatsink performance & compared to cheaper B450 motherboards this are better and Ofcourse want to use DDR4 3600MHz RAM Module.

Stick to asus tuf b450m pro gaming or asrock b450 pro 4(if you can wait for its restocking). B450M steel legend is also ok but I am not sure about its smooth working with ryzen 3xxx so if somebody can confirm it then only go for it(b450 pro 4 many users incl some here using with ryzen 3xxx). If price difference is not much then only go for 3600MHz else 3200MHz is just fine for ryzen 3xxx especially on such cheap mobos.
