A while ago i came across some posts on another forum (probably linustechtips.com) wherein it was said that certain models of the new antec ea pro gold series psus tend to shut down or act unpredictably when subjected to high transient loads, esp those created by power hungry gpus.
Because of that issue, this psu was moved down to tier d in their psu tier list. But recently i observed that they have been moved back to a higher tier again.
Does anyone have any info on this alleged fault/defect of the antec psus? Is it still present in the current batch of ea gold psus that are being sold in the market or has it been rectified by the manufacturer in their later revisions?
