Herro :)
I want to have a PC specced around AMD Trinity (I know it is not here yet) or present AMD A-series APUs with on-board graphics. As you can see I don't want best of the graphics and price is a concern. I plan to keep RAM at 8GB and am really unsure whether to get an SSD or not (I've read OCZ brand is pretty bad). Searched through flipkart and pretty much everything I wanted is out of stock or coming soon. Any help and suggestions needed. I need help with following peripherals:
1. CPU/APU
2. Mobo
3. Memory brand and specs
4. Monitor
5. Hard disks
6. Power supply and cooling
7. Case
8. Keyboard (Already have Razer Abyssus mouse)

Thanks in advance

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Coding, modding occasionally and Gaming (pre-2010 games and I don't plan to play them on max setting anyway). I play a lot but mostly arpgs, platformers and TBS games. Not into high end games like Crysis, BF3, Metro 2033 etc. Even the games I play are on med to low settings.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 30-35K

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Maybe

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7 64bit Home Edition and Ubuntu 12.04

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: At least 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No idea about this but don't want a very costly one. I've been using a laptop for the past 4 years and behind the curve about Desktop configs

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Mouse, maybe keyboard too

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: In next 6 months. This is tricky because it will depend on the final cost, the availability of parts and my own ability to cough up enough money

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Once in 2005. But will probably take someone's help in assembly

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Online if possible (although I might need to go to Delhi to buy stuff)

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Nope

I haven't mentioned UPS , coz I have no idea , already have 850VA Microtek home UPS. Also get a better Cabinet such as Cooler Master Elite 310 Cabinet (Blue) | Cabinet | Flipkart.com .
