1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: AUTOCAD, 3D MAX, PHOTOSHOP, FILMORA, PREMIERE PRO......strictly NO GAMING.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: 90 k...casn push upto 95k max.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Not at the beginning, may be later

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: win 10

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: 250 gb SSD m.2 / 1 TB HDD...OR if budget permits then 500gb ssd (2.5 FORM FACTOR)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, 22"

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: need all

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: nxt week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: n number of times

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Kolkata.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: should be NO LAG while rendering, and must be blazing fast. backlit kbd with normal mouse. Mobo from Asus / Giga, no MSI, ASROCK

How GPU-intensive do you think your productivity tasks are?

pcpricetracker.in/b/s/98bdda10-6751-44a2-8e71-c564673adf25

A380 had good reviews for productivity for its price from what I remember, just check some of its reviews.

Why no MSI mobo? That one has good VRMs to handle an i5 13500. Cheap B660/B760 won't be able handle 13500 at full load.

avoiding MSI because of their after sales service in India.
while rendering with effects good GPU is a must.
Is it wise to invest in DDR 4 anymore or should i move to DDR5?

Why do you want to buy a 7yr old monitor?
You're buying Z series board but pairing it with locked chip.

changing to B760 chipset with DDR5 then
oh, my bad

Intel Core i5-12500 LGA 1700 3.0 Ghz 65w

Asus TUF Gaming B760M-PLUS Motherboard

will 3060Ti fit here?

RTX 3060 12GB is considered good for productivity because of 12GB VRAM. 3060 8GB is a stupid card, not good for anyone at its price as its not just a VRAM reduction over 3060 12GB. Again, try to check for productivity based reviews & benchmarks yourself to compare it with 6700XT & 3060Ti, maybe even A770.

Games are considered GPU dependent, similarly most productivity tasks are considered CPU dependent mostly. So for games, I can say i5 12500 + 6700XT/3060Ti will outperform i5 13500 + 3060, heck even i9 13900K + 3060 (unless in CPU-limited edge cases, like 720p).

An i5 12500 is not a great choice for productivity on your budget, 13500 is much faster, surely costs more as well.

DDR5 will again increase the price, mobo & RAM prices will go up. I hit 91k with the previous rig I posted. You can maybe add a better PSU to it, like the XPG gold one. Maybe just save money & buy GPU later (maybe even a better GPU like 3060 12GB or 6700XT) if you want DDR5.

Finalising

i5 13500
TUF B760...this has PCIe 5.0...will it support 3060ti which is PCIE 4.0
3060 ti
Unless 3060Ti has some sure shot benefits for your productivity use case over 6700XT, 3060Ti is an inferior choice for gaming & productivity because of 12GB VRAM. I own a 3070 & can easily say that 8GB VRAM is not enough for a mid-range GPU like 3060Ti, games like Hogwarts & The Last of Us. Productivity tasks always loved high VRAM as far as i remember.

PCIe slots are backwards compatible, so yes a Gen4 GPU will run on a Gen5 slot.

IF you are getting DDR5 mobo, get DDR5 RAM, at least 6000MHz CL40. Ideally 6000MHz CL30, but that might be too expensive.

where can i compromise for the time being?

Easy, GPU, unless you really need a A4000 for GPU heavy productivity task. You have to research if your productivity tasks are more CPU heavy or GPU heavy, generally productivity tasks are CPU heavy with huge VRAM requirement.

I will still say look into 3060 12GB vs 6700XT 12GB for productivity tasks (latter is easily better for gaming). Also, i5 13500 is not like very far off from 13700K, just 2 less P cores & lower freq.

Honestly, for 90k, even 13500 + 6700XT doesn't fit (excluding monitor), not sure how you are considering 13700K + A4000. A4000 is a 3070 with 16GB VRAM, if I remember correctly.
